Recently Toby Keith made some comments about Black people knowing that Obama carries himself like a caucasian. And that the Black community knows inside that he’s carries himself as a white person

The media have made remarks such as

Other conservative media hosts have joined Beck in employing this rhetoric. The day after Beck’s “colorless” remark, Rush Limbaugh said that Obama should “renounce” his race and just “become white.” Extreme conservative talker Melanie Morgan has called Obama a “halfrican” who “is not allowed to wear the African-American badge because his family are not the descendants of slaves.” Tucker Carlson wondered about Obama, “Is he black enough?”

I’m sure you’ve heard this question before but I’ll ask anyway, do you think Barack Obama is Black enough (to represent the black community)? Does it matter? If he was “Blacker” would he be where he is right now as a candidate?

Well I was sitting in court yesterday waiting to be seen by Judge Dredd and the girl next to me had grotesquely hairy thighs. I mean this was unnatural but all natural, if you know what I mean? But yeah…It annoyed the shit out of me. Sorry to all my hairy ladies. But anyways. It brought to my mind a thread in the forums called “What annoys you?”

So being me I decided to make a short list of things that annoy me.

1. Hairy Women

2. Stank Breath in public in the morning when you know they should’ve brushed their teeth before they left the house

3. Dead batteries in my cell phone.

4. Musty people that linger in my vicinity.

5. Bad music ruining the moment.

6. Being thirsty in a place where you don’t want to drink from the water fountains.

7. Having no A/C in my car in 100 degree weather and being stuck in traffic.

8. Being ashy when there’s no lotion in sight. (If you use soap from the dispenser and rub it in without water it doubles as lotion. It’s better than saliva, right?)

9. Running out of ideas of things that annoy me before I get to #10

10. Being annoyed.

I’m a bit late with this one, better late then never…Some fun for the day..

As is being reported by the AP, Barack Obama has stated once again that he is opposed to giving reparations to the descendants of american slaves.  Obama was quoted at a town hall meeting as saying:

“I have said in the past — and I’ll repeat again — that the best reparations we can provide are good schools in the inner city and jobs for people who are unemployed,”

This stance is of particular interest on the heels of this story, and as some two dozen members of congress are currently sponsoring a piece of legislation to create a reparations commission.  Now to be fair Obama has maintained  the same stance on the reparations issue pretty much his entire political career.  When asked about this issue he stated:

“I fear that reparations would be an excuse for some to say, ‘We’ve paid our debt,’ and to avoid the much harder work.”

We had a post a day or two ago about a Pastor Killing his Wife and putting her body in the freezer, now the archdiocese of New york has removed Msgr. Wallace A. Harris from his position with the Church of St. Charles Borromeo-Harlem, NY.  

Harris was removed after accusations that he sexually assaulted two different members of his church some 20 years ago.  The victims who were 13 and 14  at the time say that Harris assaulted when they were students at the Cathedral School in Manhattan, where Harris was assigned before becoming pastor at St. Charles Borromeo.  

The most interesting part of this to me is that these accusations and his subsequent removal come on the heels of a nommination for Harris to have become the first black bishop in the Archdiocese of New York.

An evangelical preacher killed his wife several years ago and stuffed her body in a freezer after she caught him abusing their daughter, according to police and court documents.Anthony Hopkins, 37, was arrested Monday night at the Inspirational Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Jackson, Alabama, just after he had delivered a sermon to a congregation that included his seven other children, officials said.

He faces charges including murder, rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and incest.Hopkins was denied bail Thursday when he appeared before Mobile County District Judge George Hardesty. The case is set for arraignment next week, Hardesty’s clerk said.The case began Monday, when the daughter, now 19, went to the Mobile Police Department’s Child Advocacy Center and reported that she had been sexually abused by Hopkins since she was 11 years old, according to an affidavit filed in support of a search warrant of the preacher’s home in Mobile.

The affidavit related the daughter’s story as follows:

Her mother, Arletha Hopkins, 36, caught her father abusing her in a bathroom in November 2004. Afterward, her parents argued, and her mother locked her father out of the house. The father came to the daughter’s window and asked her to let him in, and she did so.

The next morning, her father asked her to help him hide her mother’s body in the freezer in the laundry room of the home.

The girl said she moved out of the home about two weeks ago and was living with a neighbor. She told police that her mother’s body was still in the freezer.

Wow. Crazy, right?
