18 Year Old Father Rapes 8 Day Old Daughter: WTF!?!?

It’s a heinous crime that sends chills down your spine. A teenage father, in Forrest City, Arkansas, is charged with raping the daughter he helped give life.
18-year-old Reginald Davis is behind bars, charged with raping his eight-day-old daughter Monday night.
Wednesday Davis made his first appearance in court. Because of the severity of the crime, the judge increased Davis’ bond from $50,000 to $100,000.
Safety concerns forced officials to hold his first appearance in court separately, away from other inmates.
Family members did not show up for his hearing, but Davis’ mother told us by phone that, “he suffers from mental health issues.”
Dr. Allen Battle is a psychologist with the UT Medical Group. He says, “seeking a baby is extremely rare.” He says, “so many of the patients have been exposed to this behavior themselves, when they were kids in their formative stages.”
Police were told about the attack after the newborn girl was taken to Forrest City Medical Center. Reports indicate Davis rode with the family to the hospital where she was treated for rape and a fractured skull. The little girl’s injuries were so bad she was transferred to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Davis’ neighbors are appalled.
“It’s scary to know if he’d do it to a child what do you think about someone he might see in the streets or something,” worried Diane Mullins.
Davis doesn’t live with the 15-year-old mother of his child. He listed a home on Wilson as his address. Investigators say Davis was visiting the child’s mother when the reported attack occurred. Police say when the teenage mother finished showering for bed, she came out and there was blood on the child.
We didn’t get a warm reception when we went to talk to Davis’ family, “Just leave.”
Criminal records show Davis has a misdemeanor theft charge, stemming from an August 2008 incident. Senior Shamaya Goss remembers Davis from his days at Forrest City High.

Now we have come full circle. Black men are now committing the sick, disgusting crimes usually attributed to white men. We used to be able to say ‘I know that wasn’t done by a black person’ but not any more. My heart goes out for that poor little baby who is probably infertile now and damaged in so many other ways physically and psychologically. My hope is that she was too young to even begin to remember, but everything is on the internet or written down, so the horrific truth will come to light when she is older. O My God, where have we gone? What have we done to our society?

Arkansas defines ‘rape’ and ’sexual misconduct’ clearly.
Rape is defined as one of four circumstances:
1. If the sex is “by forcible compulsion”, which means that one partner does not want to be a partner and the act is forced onto them.
2. If one partner is “incapable of consent because he is physically helpless”.
3. If one partner is “less than fourteen years of age” unless the other partner is less than two years older.
4. If the partners are not married, one is “less than sixteen years of age”, “not his spouse” and “who is incapable of consent because he is mentally defective or mentally incapacitated”.
Please pay attention to #4. So this 15 year old was not married to this man, she was not his spouse and according to police reports, this 18 year old man has mental health issues which should clearly label him under “mentally defective” according to Arkansas state law.
So how is it that this 18 year old man with mental health issues was not ARRESTED for rape then!? Why wasn’t there an arrest when this 15 year old CHILD got pregnant? Or when she gave birth? It’s obvious that each of them knew he was the father….he went to her home to VISIT!! Could it also be reasonable to say he shows pedophile behavior? Granted, many may not believe the age difference between 15 and 18 is that great, but is it safe to say? We sure can now considering what he did to his EIGHT DAY OLD INFANT!!! Had he been arrested on charges he clearly commited when he should have been, this whole tragedy just may have been prevented.
