ummm..I usually see women hold onto their purse a little tighter..smh..I have had people tell me that when I don’t smile..I look like I could beat somebody down..lol

This happens to me and I do it all the time. What I’m usually thinking when I do it is “I need to cross the street anyway, and I might as well do it now before I have to crowd past somebody for no reason.” It’s the same mentality that won’t let me use a public restroom stall that’s right next to somebody else. For me it’s a personal space issue rather than a question of menace.
