Will Smith Takes on History with “The Last Pharoah”

Will Smith is in talks to star in the “Last Pharaoh”, a film to be based on Taharqa, the Nubian pharaoh of Kush who battled Assyrian invaders in ancient Egypt.  Smith has had his eye on playing the Pharaoh for a while and brought the story idea to Randall Wallace (screenwriter, “Braveheart”) who will write the film. The film would be produced by Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment.

Production has currently finished on Smith’s new movie, “Seven Pounds”, and there are reports that Will Smith is in the running to play the next Captain America in a film adaptation of the popular Marvel comic books.

I just hope that they cast accurately (or at least more realistically). We’re talking about Nubia/Egypt here. Don’t ya’ll cast Angelina Jolie or Scarlett Johanssen opposite Will just because you think she’ll sell tickets. That being said, any movie where there might be Will in any form of nakedness is fine by me (and you know there’s at least gonna be some no-shirt, rippling muscle shots!!!!)

    Bout time they use Black people to portray Black people in these movies. Now we just need to redo Moses. Congrats to him on Capt America. Vote Obama lol

    Heck yeah, that’s my wish… I really only went to see I Am Legend for that workout montage… and I Robot for the shower scene, LOL
